1) How did you enjoy the film? What stood out for you?
Ans: I enjoyed the film because it shows how people who dont have any money do to survive. We are in Canada living a good life but most people dont knoe what people living in that district go through every single day. The part where every child goes to school stoods out for me the most because it is one of their most important goal in teir life.
2) Did you learn anything new about photography, life, people? What?
Ans: I learned new things about life and spcially people like how they even sell their bodies to survive.
3) How do you think the world needs to change? How important is this?
Ans: I think the world needs to change in different ways. First of all, peace and education should be on top of the list. If every single person is educated, i dont think there will be any kind of violence.
4) What are you willing to do TODAY to be a part of that change?
I am willing to change the world by giving my valuable time to make every child go to school.
5) Do you know a good song/rap/poem with good lyrics about change in the world? Post a link or lyrics to share it with us.
6) Pick a non-profit organization that is important to you. Why is this important to you? Do they have a website?
A Non-Profit Organization I chose is United Way. The focus of United Way is on identifying and resolving pressing community issues, as well as making measurable changes in the communities through partnerships with schools, government agencies, businesses, organized labor, financial institutions, community development corporations, voluntary and neighborhood associations, the faith community, and others. The webpage for this organization is http://national.unitedway.org/.
7) What ideas do you have for media arts projects that we could do individually or as a class to help contribute to these organizations that are important to us?
I think we can do the same thing as they did in the movie like taking pictures and auctioning them off. What ever money we make we send it to he organization.
